Caramel Apple Smoothie #BacktoSchoolTreats

Caramel Apple Smoothies are a delicious and unique drink that you can enjoy for breakfast or a snack. Now you can enjoy all the flavors of a yummy caramel apple, in a creamy smoothie.

This recipe was created for #BacktoSchoolTreats Week! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.

Smoothies are a go-to recipe for me because they’re quick, easy, and require minimal effort. They're a healthy option for either a quick breakfast or even snack. And let's be real, who has time for an elaborate meal, when we're trying to get our children ready for school in the morning?

This easy smoothie recipe has just a few ingredients: milk, ice, applesauce, and super tasty Torani caramel syrup and apple syrup. I used cashew milk in my smoothie to make it dairy free, but you can use any kind of milk you like. To make, simply add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.

Torani is one of our sponsors for this year’s #BacktoSchoolTreats event, and they were generous enough to send me some of their star products, to use in my Caramel Apple Smoothie.

Caramel Apple Smoothie

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups medium ice cubes
1 cup cashew milk
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon caramel syrup
2 tablespoons apple syrup

Directions

Place all of the ingredients into a blender, pulse a few times to break up the ice, then blend until smooth.
Serve immediately.

Makes one serving.

April's tips:

  • Adjust the texture of the smoothie by adding more ice for a thicker consistency, or adding additional milk for a thinner consistency.
  • Want to make this smoothie even healthier? Try adding a handful of fresh spinach to it. It won't affect the taste at all, and you'll be rewarded with a beautiful green smoothie.
  • This smoothie is plenty sweet enough for me, but if you'd like it a little sweeter, feel free to add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup.
