Kitchen Essentials

Whether you've been building your kitchen collection for years, or just starting out, I thought I’d share some of my favorite, must-have kitchen items. If you're looking to add to your collection, these are items I use on an almost weekly basis, if not daily. They are reasonably priced, sturdy, and have stood the test of time. I try to use as little plastic as possible, and these products reflect that as well.

Disclosure: Please note that the links below are affiliate links, and at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you decide to make a purchase. I have experience with these products, and I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to buy something. Thank you for your support! Just click on any of the pictures, if you're interested in learning more about or purchasing that particular product. Full Disclosure

  1. Hi April, thanks for all the great information! I love my Oster Versa performance blender; I've had it for a couple years and it's extremely powerful! I also love my immersion blender, but sometimes you just need more oomph!

I really think the workhorses of my kitchen are my baking sheets. No particular brand, and most of them are old, beat up ones passed on from my grandmother. I use them (lined) for roasting and toasting, for makeshift shelves in the fridge, taking meats and stuff out to the grill, covered in pretty paper as a base for centerpieces, etc, etc!

    1. Thanks for sharing your favorites Dani :) I'm like you and use my baking sheets for lots of different task too! I love the fact that you still have the ones that your grandmother used, what a great memory.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog and leave a comment. I love reading what you thought about the post, if you made one of the recipes, or suggestions on what you would like to see in the future.
